Details:
This course will provide an overall review of all Manual Therapy techniques
taught in the previous courses, along with advanced techniques. A written and
practical exam will take place during the course.
NEW! All certified MCMTs get listed on our Professionals site, and have
the opportunity to achieve Gold Partner status. To achieve Gold Partner status,
MCMTs must complete a minimum three months of clinical application, and conform
to basic clinical requirements, including a simple reporting process.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this advanced certification course, participants will be able
to:
• Capsular Stretches
• Know appropriate methods of evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and differential
diagnosis of musculoskeletal pathology
• Demonstrate a deep understanding and application of advanced Manual Therapy
techniques
Create and apply appropriate manual therapy treatment protocols that may
include:
• Trigger Point Therapy
• Deep and superficial Myofascial Therapy
• Stabilization & Muscle Strengthening Systems
• Neurofascial Mobilization
• Muscle Energy Technique
• Proprioceptive Training
Objectives
Upon completion of this advanced certification course, participants will be able
to:
• Know appropriate methods of evaluation, assessment, diagnosis & differential
diagnosis of musculoskeletal pathology.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding and appropriate handling of all Manual Therapy
approaches discussed.
Create appropriate Manual Therapy Treatment Protocols that may include:
• Trigger Point Therapy, Deep and Superficial MyoFascial Therapy, Muscle Energy
Technique, NeuroFascial Mobilization, Lumbar Mobilization-Manipulation, Lumbar
Stabilization, Muscle Strengthening Systems, and Proprioceptive Training.
• Demonstrate accurate application of basic, intermediate and advanced Manual
Therapy techniques.
• Pass a written and practicum exam.
